Verse 70

Yogatattva

यद्यच्छृणोति कर्णाभ्यां तत्तदात्मेति भावयेत् । लभते नासया यद्यत् तत्तदात्मेति भावयेत् ॥७०॥

यत् यत् शृणोति कर्णाभ्याम् तत् तत् आत्मा इति भावयेत् । लभते नासया यत् यत् तत् तत् आत्मा इति भावयेत् ॥

yad yac chṛṇoti karṇābhyāṃ tat tad ātmeti bhāvayet | labhate nāsayā yad yat tat tad ātmeti bhāvayet ||70||

Was immer man mit beiden Ohren hört, darüber soll man betrachten: „Das ist der Ātman (das Selbst)“. Was immer man mit der Nase riecht, darüber soll man betrachten: „Das ist der Ātman“.

Whatever one hears with the two ears—one should contemplate that as ‘that is the Self’. Whatever one smells with the nose—one should contemplate that as ‘that is the Self’.
