शुद्धमानसः शुद्धचिद्रूपः सहिष्णुः सोऽहमस्मि सहिष्णुः सोऽहमस्मीति प्राप्ते ज्ञानेन विज्ञाने ज्ञेये परमात्मनि हृदि संस्थिते देहे लब्धशान्तिपदं गते तदा प्रभामनोबुद्धिशून्यं भवति॥१२॥

IAST Transliteration

śuddha-mānasaḥ śuddha-cid-rūpaḥ sahiṣṇuḥ so'ham asmi sahiṣṇuḥ so'ham asmīti prāpte jñānena vijñāne jñeye paramātmani hṛdi saṃsthite dehe labdha-śānti-padaṃ gate tadā prabhā-mano-buddhi-śūnyaṃ bhavati ||12||

Translation

Mit gereinigtem Geist, von der Natur reinen Bewusstseins, duldsam—sich verwirklichend: „Ich bin Das, der Duldsame; ich bin Das“—wenn Wissen und verwirklichte Einsicht erlangt sind, wenn der erkennbare höchste Ātman im Herzen gegründet ist und im Leib der Stand des Friedens gewonnen wurde, dann wird es frei sogar vom bloßen Schein von Geist und Intellekt.

Academic Translation

With a purified mind, of the nature of pure consciousness, forbearing—(realizing) ‘I am That, the forbearing one; I am That’—when knowledge and realized insight have been attained, and when the knowable Supreme Self is established in the heart, and when, in the body, the state of peace has been obtained, then it becomes devoid of (even) the appearance of mind and intellect.
