सुषुप्तस्थानः प्राज्ञो मकारस्तृतीया मात्रा मितेरपीतेर्वा मिनोति ह वा इदं सर्वम् अपीतिश्च भवति य एवं वेद ॥११॥

suṣuptasthānaḥ prājño makāras tṛtīyā mātrā miter apīter vā minoti ha vā idaṃ sarvam apītiś ca bhavati ya evaṃ veda ||11||

Translation

Der Prājña, dessen Bereich der Tiefschlaf ist, ist der Laut M, die dritte Mora. Aufgrund des Maßes (miti) oder aufgrund der Auflösung/Absorption (apīti) misst und umfasst er wahrlich dies alles; und er wird selbst zur Absorption (Auflösung) — wer dies so weiß.

Academic Translation

The Prājña, whose sphere is deep sleep, is the letter M, the third mora. Because of measure (miti), or because of absorption (apīti), he indeed measures (or comprehends) all this; and he becomes the absorption (dissolution)—whoever thus knows.
