Maitreya Upanishad 30 — Verse 30

saṃśānta-sarva-saṅkalpā yā śilā-vad-avasthitiḥ | jāgrat-nidrā-vinirmuktā sā svarūpa-sthitiḥ parā ||30||

That state in which all volitions (saṅkalpas) are completely pacified, which abides like a rock, and which is free from waking and sleep—that is the supreme abiding in one’s own nature.

Mokṣa as svarūpa-sthiti; saṅkalpa-nirodha; turiya/transcending statesMahavakya: Aligns with ‘प्रज्ञानं ब्रह्म’ (Prajñānam brahma) by pointing to pure consciousness beyond waking/sleep modalities; also supports ‘तत् त्वम् असि’ as identity realized when state-bound self-notions cease.YajurKṛṣṇa Yajurveda (Maitrāyaṇīya śākhā) ShakhaChandas: Anuṣṭubh (śloka)
