Maitreya Upanishad 1 — Verse 1

aham asmi paraś cāsmi brahmāsmi prabhavo 'smy aham | sarvalokaguruś cāsmi sarvaloke 'smi so 'smy aham ||1||

I am; and I am the Supreme. I am Brahman; I am the source (of all). I am also the teacher of all worlds; I am in all worlds. I am That; I am.

Atman–Brahman identity; non-duality (Advaita)Mahavakya: Directly echoes/aligns with «अहं ब्रह्मास्मि» (Ahaṃ brahmāsmi, Bṛhadāraṇyaka) and «तत् त्वम् असि» (Tat tvam asi) via “सोऽस्म्यहम्” (I am That).YajurKṛṣṇa Yajurveda (often transmitted with Maitrāyaṇīya/ Maitrāyaṇī Upaniṣad traditions; also circulated in later Maitreya-Upaniṣad anthologies) ShakhaChandas: Anuṣṭubh-like śloka (post-Vedic metrical style common in later Upaniṣadic verses)
