Er, der mit diesem weisen Ātman (dem bewussten Selbst) aus dieser Welt hinwegging und in jener Himmelswelt alle Wünsche erlangte, wurde unsterblich—wahrlich, er wurde unsterblich.

He, having departed from this world with this wise Self (the conscious Self), and having attained all desires in that heavenly world, became immortal—indeed, he became immortal.

Mokṣa/Amṛtatva through realization of the prājña ātman (conscious Self)Mahavakya: Consequence of “प्रज्ञानं ब्रह्म”: realizing consciousness as Brahman culminates in amṛtatva (immortality/liberation). Indirectly supports “अहं ब्रह्मास्मि” as the liberating recognition of the Self’s identity with Brahman.RigŚākala (Aitareya tradition) ShakhaChandas: Prose (gadyam)
