तथापि नास्ति ते शांतिर्मुक्तेऽप्यस्मिन्द्विजोत्तमाः । गृहीतेऽपि च युष्माभिस्तस्माद्रक्ष्यः प्रयत्नतः
tathāpi nāsti te śāṃtirmukte'pyasmindvijottamāḥ | gṛhīte'pi ca yuṣmābhistasmādrakṣyaḥ prayatnataḥ
(Paraśurāma sprach:) „Dennoch, o beste der Brāhmaṇas, werdet ihr keinen Frieden haben, selbst wenn dies freigegeben wird; und selbst wenn ihr es an euch nehmt, darum muss es mit Anstrengung bewacht werden.“
