अनावृष्ट्या महेन्द्रस्य संजातश्चौषधीक्षयः । ततोऽस्म्यहं श्वमांसेन विश्वामित्रेण योजितः

Transliteration

anāvṛṣṭyā mahendrasya saṃjātaścauṣadhīkṣayaḥ | tato'smyahaṃ śvamāṃsena viśvāmitreṇa yojitaḥ

Translation

Weil Mahendra keinen Regen sandte, gingen Pflanzen und Kräuter zugrunde. Da wurde ich von Viśvāmitra gezwungen, Hundefleisch zu verzehren.
