तच्छ्रुत्वा गरुडस्तूर्णं धृतपाशुपतव्रतः । संस्थाप्य देवमीशानं ततस्तं तोषमानयत्

Transliteration

tacchrutvā garuḍastūrṇaṃ dhṛtapāśupatavrataḥ | saṃsthāpya devamīśānaṃ tatastaṃ toṣamānayat

Translation

Als Garuḍa dies hörte, nahm er sogleich das Pāśupata-Gelübde auf sich. Nachdem er den Herrn Īśāna (Śiva) ordnungsgemäß eingesetzt hatte, bemühte er sich, Ihn zufriedenzustellen.
