etalliṃgaṃ samabhyarcya snātvā bhāgīrathījale | api pāpasamāyuktā yāsyaṃti paramāṃ gatim

Translation

Wer diesen Liṅga in rechter Weise verehrt und im Wasser der Bhāgīrathī (Gaṅgā) badet, wird selbst mit Sünden beladen das höchste Ziel erlangen.
