परं तस्य वधाज्जाता ब्रह्महत्या सुगर्हिता । तव शक्र न तेनाद्य स्पृशामोऽस्पृश्यतां गतम्
paraṃ tasya vadhājjātā brahmahatyā sugarhitā | tava śakra na tenādya spṛśāmo'spṛśyatāṃ gatam
„Doch aus seiner Tötung ist auf dir, o Śakra, die schwer geschmähte Sünde der brahmahatyā entstanden. Darum berühren wir dich heute nicht: Du bist in einen Zustand ritueller Unberührbarkeit gefallen.“
