athā'sau lajjayāviṣṭaḥ praṇipatya maheśvaram | provāca ca stutiṃ kṛtvā kṣamyatāṃ kṣamyatāmiti
Dann, von Scham ergriffen, warf er sich vor Maheśvara (Śiva) nieder und sprach, nachdem er Lob dargebracht hatte: „Möge mir vergeben werden, möge mir vergeben werden.“
