ततः संतर्प्य देवांश्च पितॄंश्च तदनंतरम् । पूजयित्वा हविर्वाहं ब्राह्मणांश्च ततः परम्

tataḥ saṃtarpya devāṃśca pitṝṃśca tadanaṃtaram | pūjayitvā havirvāhaṃ brāhmaṇāṃśca tataḥ param

Daraufhin, nachdem er die Götter und danach die Ahnen gebührend gesättigt hatte, und nachdem er Agni, den Träger der Opfergaben, verehrt hatte, erwies er als Nächstes den Brāhmaṇas Ehrfurcht.
