Transliteration

tataḥ kaṃcitsamāśritya svalpacchāyaṃ mahīruham | prāptavāndivasasyāṃtaṃ kṣutpipāsāprapīḍitaḥ

Translation

Dann suchte er Zuflucht bei einem Baum, der nur wenig Schatten bot, und hielt bis zum Ende des Tages aus, von Hunger und Durst gequält.
