ततो नृपगृहे जाता तत्प्रभावाद्द्विजोत्तमाः । पूर्वकर्मविपाकेन संजाता विष कन्यका

tato nṛpagṛhe jātā tatprabhāvāddvijottamāḥ | pūrvakarmavipākena saṃjātā viṣa kanyakā

Dann, o ihr besten Brahmanen, wurde sie durch die Wirkung jener Tat im Hause des Königs geboren. Durch das Reifen früheren Karmas wurde sie zu einer „Giftjungfrau“ (viṣakanyā).
