Transliteration

saiva ṣaṣṭhī tithiḥ puṇyā tasmāttatra drutaṃ vraja | ahaṃ tava pitā putra śaṃtanuḥ pṛthivīpatiḥ

Translation

Eben dieser Ṣaṣṭhī‑Tithi ist heilig; darum geh rasch dorthin. Ich bin dein Vater, mein Sohn — Śaṃtanu, Herrscher der Erde.
