Transliteration

ekataḥ sarvatīrthāni sarvadānāni caikataḥ | ekatastu vṛṣotsargaḥ kārtikyāṃ puṣkareṣu ca

Translation

Auf der einen Seite stehen alle heiligen Tīrthas und auf der einen Seite alle Gaben; doch auf der anderen Seite steht eine einzige Tat: vṛṣotsarga—das Freilassen des Stieres—wenn sie im Monat Kārttika in Puṣkara vollzogen wird.
