Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 23
त्रिशंकुरुवाच । अनेनैव शरीरेण स्वर्गाय गमनं प्रति । मया संप्रार्थितो यज्ञो वसिष्ठान्मुनिसत्तमात्
triśaṃkuruvāca | anenaiva śarīreṇa svargāya gamanaṃ prati | mayā saṃprārthito yajño vasiṣṭhānmunisattamāt
Triśaṅku sprach: „Mit eben diesem Leib begehrte ich, zum Himmel zu gelangen. Darum bat ich Vasiṣṭha, den erhabensten der Weisen, ein Yajña zu diesem Zweck zu vollziehen.“
