Type: temple
Scene: A dramatic yet serene manifestation: a liṅga emerging from the earth or shining forth in the sanctum; devotees experience siddhi through mere sight and remembrance, shown as radiant calm around their heads/hearts.
Devotion is made easy: remembrance and darśana of Śiva at a sacred shrine are declared sufficient to yield spiritual success.
The liṅga manifestation associated with Siddheśvara/Hāṭakeśvara-kṣetra in this adhyāya.
Smaraṇa (remembering) and darśana (seeing) are highlighted as efficacious devotional acts.
