Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 30
शाकल्याय च तां दत्त्वा दक्षिणां निजमंदिरे । जगाम नित्यमेवं हि व्यवहारो व्यवस्थितः
śākalyāya ca tāṃ dattvā dakṣiṇāṃ nijamaṃdire | jagāma nityamevaṃ hi vyavahāro vyavasthitaḥ
Und nachdem er jene dakṣiṇā in seinem eigenen Hause an Śākalya übergeben hatte, ging er fort. So wurde Tag für Tag diese Ordnung des Dienstes fest und dauerhaft eingerichtet.
