Scene: A Śaiva initiate with tripuṇḍra and rudrākṣa performs worship after bhasma-snāna; a guru figure bestows dīkṣā; the shrine glows as the narrator invites the listener to ‘hear the fruit’.
Initiation and disciplined Śaiva observance (bhasma practice) intensify the efficacy and promised fruits of worship.
No site is named in this verse; it sets up a graded discussion of fruits within the Tīrthamāhātmya.
Śiva-dīkṣā (initiation) and bhasma-snāna (ritual ash-bath/ash application), along with samārādhana (propitiation).
