Sūta (narrative voice continuing the māhātmya)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Śaunaka and the Naimiṣāraṇya sages (frame)
Scene: Devotees arrive in the bright spring month of Caitra; a brief, reverent glimpse of the deity in the sanctum is shown as spiritually transformative, with light streaming from the garbhagṛha.
Even brief, sincere darśana in an auspicious time can bring powerful purification when grounded in regular devotion.
The verse praises the deity of the local Nāgarakhaṇḍa Śiva-site, later identified with Nimbēśvara.
Daily/regular darśana of the deity in the month of Caitra.
