Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 12

वृक्षाणां फलनिष्पत्तिः सस्यानां च तथा परा । अग्निष्टोमादयो यज्ञा वर्तंते ये धरातले

vṛkṣāṇāṃ phalaniṣpattiḥ sasyānāṃ ca tathā parā | agniṣṭomādayo yajñā vartaṃte ye dharātale

Auf der Erdoberfläche reifen die Früchte der Bäume, und auch die Feldfrüchte gelangen zur vollen Reife. Und Opferhandlungen wie das Agniṣṭoma und andere Yajñas werden hier in der Welt vollzogen.
