अष्टाविंशत्सहस्रैस्तु वत्सराणां कृतं युगम् । तस्मिञ्छ्वेतोऽभवद्विष्णुर्भगवान्यो जगद्गुरुः

Transliteration

aṣṭāviṃśatsahasraistu vatsarāṇāṃ kṛtaṃ yugam | tasmiñchveto'bhavadviṣṇurbhagavānyo jagadguruḥ

Translation

Das Kṛta-Yuga umfasste achtundzwanzigtausend Jahre; in jenem Zeitalter erschien Viṣṇu—Bhagavān, der Guru der Welt—in weißer, strahlender Gestalt.
