विषं वा भक्षयिष्यामि प्रवेक्ष्यामि हुताशनम् । तस्यास्तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा निषिद्धः स द्विजस्तया
viṣaṃ vā bhakṣayiṣyāmi pravekṣyāmi hutāśanam | tasyāstadvacanaṃ śrutvā niṣiddhaḥ sa dvijastayā
„Ich werde Gift schlucken oder ins Feuer gehen.“ Als er ihre Worte hörte, wurde jener Brahmane zurückgehalten, durch ihren Einspruch gebremst.
