तच्छ्रुत्वाऽथ विनिष्क्रांतो गुल्ममध्याच्छतक्रतुः । हृष्टरोमा हतं श्रुत्वा वृत्रं दानवसत्तमम्

Transliteration

tacchrutvā'tha viniṣkrāṃto gulmamadhyācchatakratuḥ | hṛṣṭaromā hataṃ śrutvā vṛtraṃ dānavasattamam

Translation

Als er dies hörte, trat Śatakratu (Indra) aus der Mitte des Dickichts hervor; und als er vernahm, dass Vṛtra, der Vornehmste unter den Dānavas, erschlagen sei, stellten sich ihm vor Freude die Haare auf.
