Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 19

तदैष मुक्तिमाप्नोति देहस्तिष्ठति केवलम् । यावद्ब्रह्मफलावाप्त्यै प्रयाति पुरुषोत्तमः

tadaiṣa muktimāpnoti dehastiṣṭhati kevalam | yāvadbrahmaphalāvāptyai prayāti puruṣottamaḥ

Dann erlangt er die Befreiung (mokṣa), während der Leib nur noch verbleibt. Bis zur Erlangung der höchsten Frucht Brahmans führt ihn Puruṣottama, die Höchste Person, weiter (zur letzten Vollendung).
