शूद्र उवाच । पार्वतीकुपिता देवी कथं देवेन शूलिना । प्रसादं च गता शप्त्वा यत्कोपात्क्षुभ्यते जगत्

śūdra uvāca | pārvatīkupitā devī kathaṃ devena śūlinā | prasādaṃ ca gatā śaptvā yatkopātkṣubhyate jagat

Der Śūdra sprach: Wie versöhnte sich die erzürnte Göttin Pārvatī mit dem Herrn, der den Dreizack trägt? Und wie kehrte sie, nachdem sie einen Fluch ausgesprochen hatte, wieder zur Gnade zurück—sie, durch deren Zorn die ganze Welt erbebt?
