Brāhmaṇas (addressing a muni/sage within the narrative)
Listener: muni (addressed: ‘muṇe’) and the brāhmaṇa assembly
Scene: A circle of brāhmaṇas rejoicing, hands raised in approval, praising the sage’s statement as true.
Truth recognized by the wise brings collective joy and strengthens confidence in dharma and sacred tradition.
The affirmation occurs in the flow of the Viṣṇupadī Gaṅgā narrative; the tīrtha itself is praised more directly in the following verses.
No new ritual is prescribed here; it records the brāhmaṇas’ approval of the sage’s statement.
