अत्र विष्णुपदी गंगा तत्क्षेत्रे तु द्विजोत्तमाः । तस्यां स्नानं करोत्वेष ततः शुद्धिमवाप्स्यति
atra viṣṇupadī gaṃgā tatkṣetre tu dvijottamāḥ | tasyāṃ snānaṃ karotveṣa tataḥ śuddhimavāpsyati
Doch hier, in diesem heiligen Gebiet, ist die als Viṣṇupadī bekannte Gaṅgā gegenwärtig, o Bester der Zweimalgeborenen. Er bade in ihr; dann wird er Reinigung erlangen.
