Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 16

स तथेति प्रतिज्ञाय घृतमादाय तत्क्षणात् । चक्रे वह्निसमं यावत्पानार्थं द्विजसत्तमाः

Transliteration

sa tatheti pratijñāya ghṛtamādāya tatkṣaṇāt | cakre vahnisamaṃ yāvatpānārthaṃ dvijasattamāḥ

Translation

Er sprach: „So sei es“, und gelobte es; sogleich nahm er das Ghee, und der Beste der Zweimalgeborenen erhitzte es zum Trinken, bis es dem Feuer glich.
