अथासौ प्रणिपत्योच्चैः प्रोवाच द्विजसत्तमान् । जलभ्रांत्या सुरा पीता मया कुरुत निग्रहम्
athāsau praṇipatyoccaiḥ provāca dvijasattamān | jalabhrāṃtyā surā pītā mayā kuruta nigraham
Dann warf er sich ehrfürchtig nieder und sprach laut zu jenen besten der Brāhmaṇas: „Aus Versehen, es für Wasser haltend, habe ich berauschenden Trank getrunken. Bitte legt mir die angemessene Zucht auf.“
