Transliteration

kṛtadhyānāḥ surāstatra vṛkṣādhāre samāśritāḥ | vratacaryāṃ samāśritya pracakrustapa uttamam

Translation

Dort nahmen die Götter, nachdem sie die Meditation gefestigt hatten, Zuflucht am Fuße eines Baumes; der Gelübde-Disziplin folgend, vollzogen sie die höchste Askese.
