ब्राह्मणक्षत्रियविशां सच्छूद्राणामथापि वा । शालिग्रामाधिकारोऽस्ति न चान्येषां कदाचन

brāhmaṇakṣatriyaviśāṃ sacchūdrāṇāmathāpi vā | śāligrāmādhikāro'sti na cānyeṣāṃ kadācana

Brahmanen, Kṣatriyas, Vaiśyas—und auch tugendhafte Śūdras—haben die Berechtigung zur Verehrung des Śāligrāma; andere jedoch niemals, zu keiner Zeit.
