Transliteration

gṛhāśramaparityāgī bāhyā śramaniṣevakaḥ | cāturmāsyaṃ hariprītyai na māturjaṭhare śiśuḥ

Translation

Wer den Hausstand (gṛhāśrama) aufgibt und äußere Entbehrungen auf sich nimmt—indem er das Cāturmāsya zur Freude Haris beobachtet—wird nicht wieder als Kind im Schoß einer Mutter geboren.
