शक्र तुष्टोऽस्मि भद्रं ते वरं वरय सुव्रत । व्रतेनानेन चीर्णेन चातुर्मास्योद्भवेन च । तस्मात्प्रार्थय देवेन्द्र नित्यं यन्मनसि स्थितम्
śakra tuṣṭo'smi bhadraṃ te varaṃ varaya suvrata | vratenānena cīrṇena cāturmāsyodbhavena ca | tasmātprārthaya devendra nityaṃ yanmanasi sthitam
O Śakra, Heil dir — ich bin zufrieden. Wähle eine Gabe, du Standhafter in den Gelübden. Durch dieses Gelübde, das du vollzogen hast, hervorgegangen aus der Zeit der Cāturmāsya; darum, o Herr der Götter, erbitte, was stets in deinem Herzen ruht.
