वृकस्यापि न सन्देहो विभवेन समन्वितम् । नो चेत्प्राणान्हरिष्यामि सेंद्रस्य तव शंकर
vṛkasyāpi na sandeho vibhavena samanvitam | no cetprāṇānhariṣyāmi seṃdrasya tava śaṃkara
Selbst für Vṛka besteht kein Zweifel — (ich werde) den Glanz und die Macht, die du beanspruchst, an mich reißen. Andernfalls, o Śaṅkara, nehme ich dir das Leben, selbst mitsamt Indra.
