विषमौ द्विगुणैर्दर्भैः सतिलैर्वामपार्श्वतः । पाणौ तोयं परिक्षिप्य न दर्भांस्तु कथं चन
viṣamau dviguṇairdarbhaiḥ satilairvāmapārśvataḥ | pāṇau toyaṃ parikṣipya na darbhāṃstu kathaṃ cana
Auf der linken Seite soll man die Anordnung, wie vorgeschrieben, ungleich setzen, mit Darbha-Gras in doppelter Menge und mit Sesam. Nachdem man Wasser auf die Hand gesprengt hat, darf man die Darbhas unter keinen Umständen unsachgemäß handhaben oder falsch legen.
