भर्तृयज्ञ उवाच । तच्छ्रुत्वा पितरो हृष्टा जग्मुः स्वंस्वं निकेतनम् । वर्षांतेऽपि समासाद्य श्राद्धं न स्युर्बुभुक्षिताः
bhartṛyajña uvāca | tacchrutvā pitaro hṛṣṭā jagmuḥ svaṃsvaṃ niketanam | varṣāṃte'pi samāsādya śrāddhaṃ na syurbubhukṣitāḥ
Bhartṛyajña sprach: Als sie dies hörten, freuten sich die Pitṛs und gingen, ein jeder, in seine eigene Wohnstatt. Und wenn das Jahresende kommt, werden sie nicht hungrig bleiben, denn das Śrāddha wird vollzogen werden.
