Transliteration

tapaścacāra vipulaṃ sarvavighnavivarjitam | brāhmaṇyaṃ ca tataḥ prāptaṃ sarveṣāmapi durlabham o

Translation

Daraufhin übte er gewaltige Askese (tapas), frei von allen Hindernissen; und danach erlangte er das Brahmanentum (brāhmaṇya), das für alle schwer zu erreichen ist.
