Listener: King (pārthiva); within scene: Devī
Scene: Śiva proclaims the newly enlivened being as Devī’s son and eternal overseer of Śiva’s gaṇas; the figure is now radiant, poised as a commander among attendants.
Divine roles are established by sacred power and purpose—Vināyaka is appointed as the cosmic administrator of Śiva’s gaṇas.
No particular tīrtha is named; the verse glorifies Gaṇeśa’s office (Gaṇa-nāyaka) within the chapter’s sacred account.
It underscores the efficacy of Jīva-sūkta and frames Gaṇeśa worship around his divinely ordained authority.
