ततो जांबवती पुत्रं दृष्ट्वा तीर्थोन्मुखं तदा । गच्छमानं प्रचक्रेऽथ प्रलापान्कुररी यथा

tato jāṃbavatī putraṃ dṛṣṭvā tīrthonmukhaṃ tadā | gacchamānaṃ pracakre'tha pralāpānkurarī yathā

Da sah Jāmbavatī ihren Sohn, dem Pilgergang zur Tīrtha zugewandt und im Aufbruch, und sie begann zu klagen wie ein Kurarī-Vogel.
