Indra
Tirtha: Bālamaṇḍanaka-tīrtha (contextual)
Type: ghat
Listener: a sad-dvija (good brāhmaṇa)
Scene: Indra, radiant and crowned, pronounces a boon to a humble brāhmaṇa/pilgrim near a sacred ford; attendants and sages witness the blessing.
The ideal heir is defined by dharma and truth, and by strict integrity regarding sacred/temple wealth.
The verse continues a tīrtha-mahātmya narrative but does not identify the tirtha by name.
No explicit ritual; it affirms a boon and highlights the ethical vow of avoiding devasva.
