पद्मज उवाच । श्राद्धकाले तु विप्राणां भोज्यपात्रेषु कृत्स्नशः । भस्मरेखां प्रदास्यंति ह्येतैस्तत्त्याज्यमेव हि

padmaja uvāca | śrāddhakāle tu viprāṇāṃ bhojyapātreṣu kṛtsnaśaḥ | bhasmarekhāṃ pradāsyaṃti hyetaistattyājyameva hi

Padmaja (Brahmā) sprach: „Zur Zeit des śrāddha werden diese Wesen ringsum an den Speisegefäßen der Brāhmaṇas überall Aschelinien ziehen. Darum muss man dies—Speise oder Anordnung—für sie wahrlich meiden.“
