Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 37

अथ तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा सुराः सर्वे तथा द्विजाः । पुलस्त्यश्च शुभार्थाय स्नानार्थं प्रस्थितास्तदा । ब्रह्मणा सहिता हृष्टाः पुत्रदारसमन्विताः

atha tadvacanaṃ śrutvā surāḥ sarve tathā dvijāḥ | pulastyaśca śubhārthāya snānārthaṃ prasthitāstadā | brahmaṇā sahitā hṛṣṭāḥ putradārasamanvitāḥ

Als sie jene Weisung vernommen hatten, brachen alle Götter und die Zweimalgeborenen—zusammen mit Pulastya—zu jener Zeit zum heiligen Bad auf, um das Heilvolle zu erlangen. Mit Brahmā vereint zogen sie freudig dahin, begleitet von Söhnen und Gattinnen.
