Transliteration

āgatā kanyakā caikā sāmagītisamutsukā | śaṃkukarṇanajaṃ citraṃ vāṃchamānā vicakṣaṇā

Translation

Da kam ein Mädchen herbei, voller Sehnsucht nach dem Sāma-Gesang; klug und scharfsinnig verlangte sie, die wunderbare Gestalt zu schauen, die aus Śaṃku und Karṇa hervorgegangen war.
