ततो मयापि तद्दृष्ट्वा तस्याश्चेष्टितमुत्तमम् । आशाः सर्वाः परित्यक्ताः स्वपिमीह ततः सुखी
tato mayāpi taddṛṣṭvā tasyāśceṣṭitamuttamam | āśāḥ sarvāḥ parityaktāḥ svapimīha tataḥ sukhī
Dann auch ich, als ich ihr vortreffliches Verhalten sah, gab alle Hoffnungen auf; so schlafe ich hier, und danach bin ich zufrieden und still.
