सर्वे शीर्णानि वृक्षाणां पुष्पाणि च फलानि च । भक्षयामोऽथ पत्राणि शरी रस्थितिहेतुना

sarve śīrṇāni vṛkṣāṇāṃ puṣpāṇi ca phalāni ca | bhakṣayāmo'tha patrāṇi śarī rasthitihetunā

Wir essen nur, was von den Bäumen herabgefallen ist—Blüten und Früchte—und danach auch Blätter, allein zur Erhaltung des Leibes.
