Transliteration

adhyarddhāṣṭamajā pīḍā nā'sya kāryā tvayā vibho | śamī samidbhiryo homaṃ tavoddeśena yacchati

Translation

„O Herr, lege ihm nicht das Leiden auf, das aus der Adhyarddhāṣṭamī hervorgeht. Denn wer ein Homa, das Feueropfer, mit Zündholz der Śamī darbringt und es in deinem Namen weiht …“
