Transliteration

utathyaśāpadoṣeṇa devācāryo bṛhaspatiḥ | devakāryasya siddhyarthaṃ tasmāttacchṛṇu kāraṇam

Translation

Wegen des Makels, der aus Utathyas Fluch entstand, wurde Bṛhaspati—der Lehrer der Götter—behindert. Darum, damit das Vorhaben der Götter gelinge, höre den Grund dafür.
